The broad spectrum of expertise becomes apparent in the list of NHR projects which are positively evaluated by the scientific board. Research projects at NHR@ZIB cover a wide range of applications, like e.g. Computational Drug Design, Heart simulations, nanophotonics, mobility, data assimilation in astrophysics or quantum technology, GreenHPC, big data applications, and towards new HPC architectures.
NHR@ZIB is engaged in several nationwide and international research alliances, like e.g. Forschungscampus MODAL, CECAM node “Mathematics and Computation in Molecular Simulation“, and Labs together with the HPC manufacturer Intel and CRAY/HPE.
