Scientific Service

The compute systems of the NHR@ZIB are complemented by a significant offer of scientific service. The options cover the following points.

  • guidance and advice for users during the preparation and realization of compute time projects with respect to computational methods, to efficient usage of the compute systems and to code optimization
  • organization of education events and of advanced trainings for the usage of high-performance computing systems
  • provisioning of optimized application software for the scientific community

The scientific service is developed by the NHR@ZIB directly. This is done in close collaboration to other NHR centers and it is further complemented by the supra-regional and interdisciplinary network of scientists in North Germany.
